Multiple award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has given dancehall act, Shatta Wale a huge boost with his soon-to-be-released ‘Reign’ album with a post on social media.
Sarkodie took to his Instagram account and gave the ‘Dem Confuse’ singer some props by mentioning his upcoming ‘Reign’ album and asking his fans to download the album. The ‘Can’t Let You Go’ singer’s tweet read, “Reign by Shatta Wale … Stream x Download Now.”
Sarkodie’s single act, according to some fans would go a long way to push Shatta Wale’s album launch farther. It is yet to be ascertained whether Sarkodie would also make an appearance today, October 13, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome in Accra for the album launch.
Sarkodie made headlines in Ghana when just three days to the launch of the ‘Reign’ album, he released a ‘diss’ song attacking Shatta Wale. In the new ‘diss’ song titled “Advice”, Sarkodie doled out loads of insults to Shatta Wale, cautioning the dancehall artiste to be wary of him.
Sarkodie called Shatta Wale names, and said though he boasts of riches, he was actually poor. According to Sarkodie, Shatta Wale knew nothing, but only enjoyed tarnishing the hard-earned image of other musicians.
The ‘Highest’ singer called Shatta Wale a fool, and said that the bank account of the dancehall star could not even finance a brand new car.
