Coronavirus: Ghana’s cases jump to 5,127

Fake COVID-19 Test: NOGUCHI won't accept results from unapproved test kits

The coronavirus infections in Ghana have risen  5,127 with 22 deaths.

In a press briefing Tuesday morning, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Aboagye, explained there has been an additional 427 new cases of which 272 are from Obuasi township in the Ashanti region.

There have been no new recoveries with the figure still standing at 494 but there are 130 persons awaiting their second negative test, according to the Ghana Health Service.

He said the total number of test conducted by close of day yesterday was 16,123
With 5127 testing positive
