Ex-prez Mahama Redeems Promise to Emmanuel 'Game Boy' Tagoe

Former Ghana president John Dramani Mahama has given boxer Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe a brand new Hyundai Accent saloon car following his promise to him before his world title fight against South African Fana Nzonke.
Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe who is under the management of Asamoah Gyan’s Babyjet Promotions pummeled Fana Nzonke in the bout and days after, President Mahama was voted out of office hence the promise stalled a bit due to the transition process among others.
Speaking to Happy FM, Tagoe thanked the ex-president Mahama profusely for the gesture.
“I thank President Mahama for this wonderful gesture. In fact it came at a time I wasn’t really expecting it. I was home when I got a call from my coach that we have been invited by ex-president Mahama and when we got there, he redeemed his promise to me by giving me and my coach a brand new Hyundai accent saloon car each.” We are extremely grateful to him for this gift and I hope it spurs me on to greater heights.” Game Boy told Happy FM.
Emmanuel Tagoe also thanked the ex-president’s brother Ibrahim Mahama profusely for also adding up to the gift.
