Nana Yaw Amponsah Wins Top Sports Honour At 40-Under-40 Awards

Nana Yaw Amponsah, president of ambitious Ghanaian Division One side Phar Rangers Football Club has scooped the prestigious Sports Personality of the Year at the 2017 40-Under-40 Awards.
The awards, which was held at the plush Kempinski Hotel in Accra, saw Nana Yaw Amponsah coming out as the most outstanding Ghanaian sports entrepreneur Under 40 years in the year under review.
As an astute sports lawyer and FIFA intermediary, he has changed the fortunes of several Ghanaian footballers and their clubs by transferring them into European, American and some high flying African clubs.
After just one year in Ghana’s second tier league, Phar Rangers FC has through the ingenuity of its president Nana Amponsah, become the model club in the  country with its unique branding trends and marketing aptness.
On the night, 40 outstanding Ghanaian entrepreneurs under the age of 40 were awarded in the respective fields of endeavor which included Sports, Law, Banking and Finance, Oil and Gas, IT, and Real Estate among others.
