DSTV and Mentos put smiles on the faces of two loyal listeners of Happy FM after handing them their prizes for coming up tops in the predict and win competition for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Adjiringano based Ernest Obiri won the ultimate prize and walked away with a DSTV satellite dish, decoder and several products from mentos while Daniel Nartey from Ashaiman won a Gotv decoder and antenna as well as several products from Mentos which included confectioneries, a bag a customized selfie stick.
Expressing how he feels after winning the competition, Ernest Obiri said he was elated by the prizes he scooped which he least expected despite putting in a few predictions.
“I’m so happy about this gesture. In fact I least expected it though I trusted Cameroon to beat Egypt in the final of the AFCON. I listen to happy FM all the time so when I heard the predict and win, I told myself I would give it a try and fortunately for me, I came up tops  so I’ll now have DSTV in the house coupled with the many products from Mentos.” An overjoyed Ernest told Happy FM.
On his part, Ashaiman based Daniel Nartey said he never believed these predict and win competitions were real but after winning the Gotv decoder, its antenna and the other products from Mentos, he has come to trust the genuineness of competitions organised by Happy FM.
“My dial is always on Happy FM so when I heard the calls for entries for the predict and win competition, I decided to give it a try and I managed to get my prediction right hence winning these coveted prizes. Honestly I didn’t believe these promotions were true but I decided to try it and I have been able to win.” Daniel Nartey said.
Listeners of Happy FM were asked to predict the ultimate winner of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to MTN shortcode 1327 and Ernest, the Ultimate winner managed to correctly predict Cameroon as the ultimate winners with Egypt coming second and Burkina Faso and Ghana following in third and fourth place respectively.
