Coach Zdravko Logarusic is expecting Kotoko to extend their unbeaten run and make their supporters happy with a win over Bechem United today when the two sides clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Porcupines are at home against the Bechem United on match day three of the 2016/17 Premier League.
Kotoko won the season’s opening game 2-1 over Liberty before drawing goalless at the Golden City Park with Berekum Chelsea last Sunday. Coach Zdravko and his charges are hoping for another win on home soil in the midweek.
“The main thing we have to do is to stay on the unbeaten road” he told Asantekotokosc.com on Tuesday. “And then also we have to try to make our supporters happy to try to win the game. That’s what we [will try to do]; to put the smiles on the faces of our supporters” he said.
The game will be the first league game for last season’s FA Cup champions who have had their first two league matches postponed due to their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking of the quality of the opponent and the strategy to outwit them, Zdravko said: “We are playing against a very good team which represented Ghana in Africa. We’ve to put in our maximum efforts to do it”.
