Former Black Stars Management Committee Member Moses Parker believes Kwesi Appiah can win a trophy for the Black Stars.
The Black Stars have not won a trophy since they defeated Libya in the 1982 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
But, Parker has expressed his belief in Kwesi Appiah, who was confirmed as the team’s new coach following a month of searching for Avram Grant’s replacement on Tuesday.
In an interview with Happy FM, Parker said, “Definitely he can win us a trophy because in the nation’s football history, all those coaches that won us our four titles were Ghanaians hence I believe we have taken a good path.”
“My only worry is about the two years they gave him, it should have been four years or even more but I believe in him to deliver the goods.”
