There were earlier reports that none of the signed artistes at Zylofon Music, would be performing at this year’s edition of the VGMAs but that has now changed as it has been disclosed that, Stonebwoy who’s also under the label, would be performing this Saturday at the 2018 VGMA awards
The head of communications at Charterhouse, Geroge Quaye has confirmed that the BHIM Nation president will perform at the event.
George Quaye had denied reports that, Charterhouse decided to blacklist all Zylofon signed musicians from performing at the VGMAs and mentioned that it was not possible for them to book all artiste nominated at the VGMAs to perform but several reports published also suggested that Charter House was not ready to pay the amount of money, Zylofon Music was charging when they wanted Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Now that there is a confirmation that Stonebwoy would be performing on the night, it could mean that Zylofon Music has agreed to perhaps reduce the charge from the reported Ghc300,000 price for Stonebwoy to something that Charterhouse can afford, perhaps something between Ghc80,000-Ghc120,000.
