The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch its 2024 manifesto today, Sunday, August 18, 2024, in the Western Regional capital, Takoradi.

The event, scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm, follows the party’s massive health walk in Sekondi-Takoradi on Saturday. Thousands of supporters and sympathizers are expected to gather at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi for the manifesto launch ahead of the 2024 election

Ahead of the manifesto launch, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, said 90% of the manifesto would focus on job creation and business development, with a particular emphasis on the private sector.

He stated that the party has created 2.1 million jobs in the past eight years—a feat unmatched by any other government in Ghana’s history.

He noted that while the NPP has made significant strides in job creation, there is still more work to be done to meet the needs of Ghana’s growing youth population.
