Black Stars Management Committee Member, Joseph Yaw Appiah has asked for a collective effort to weed out ‘squatters’ from the Ghana Football Association premises.
The former GHALCA boss believes that those who hang around the Ghana Football Association all the time although they have no official duties there are those who steal documents and sell them to others for protest cases.
Speaking on Happy FM, J.Y Appiah labelled those people as ‘goro boys’, to wit, people who serve as middlemen, and asked that there must be a consented effort to boot them out of the corridors of the Football Association.
“We are launching a campaign called ‘Operation Drive Away Goro Boys from GFA’. Let’s all help remove the ‘goro boys’ from the GFA. You will find them lingering at the premises of the Ghana Football Association although they have no specific duties there. it’s these same people who steal documents and sell them to others to file protest cases with. We must ensure that such people are booted out of the GFA corridors.” J.Y Appiah stated vehemently on Happy FM.
