2017 WAFU Cup winning duo Isaac Twum and Vincent Atingah have received debut call-ups for Ghana’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda next month, according to reports.
According to Ghanasportsonline, the two players impressed head coach Kwesi Appiah who also monitored the two-week tournament
Twum, an offensive midfielder who played for Inter Allies, was named Most Valuable Player at the just ended tournament.
Centre back Atingah of Hearts of Oak scored two goals- all penalties-
The two players were named in the tournament’s Best XI.
