The Assembly man for Niiman electoral area in the Ashaiman municipality, Charles Kofi Kissi has assured the chiefs and people of Ashaiman that plans are far advanced to construct another overhead bridge at the Adjei-Kojo end of the Ashaiman road.
He said the Assembly is working assiduously with the Ghana Highways Authority to have the overhead bridge constructed to ease traffic on that stretch of road.
According to him, the overhead bridge if constructed will further ease the constant flooding of the road in the area.
He added that the overhead bridge will open access to the Zenu and Attadeka areas of the municipality. He said the construction of the overhead bridge is one of the priority projects on the table of the Assembly.
Mr. Kissi made this revelation on ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Affrifa Mensah on Happy FM as part of the maiden outdoor programme to bring the show closer to listeners in the Ashaiman municipality.
He explained that the construction of a second overhead bridge is priority project and the Assembly is doing everything humanly possible to have the construction kick started in the area.
”The people of Ashaiman should be rest assured that the Assembly under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive of the Assembly, Boakye Kissi is working to make this a reality in the area, ”he said.
