Osei Palmer Fingers Elmina Sharks For Inducing Players of Tema Youth, Liberty And Ashgold

The Bank roller and President of Tema Youth FC Wilfred Kwaku Osei Palmer has accused Elmina Sharks of influencing his players when they clashed at the Tema Park some few weeks ago.
The Harbour City Boys have been relegated after the 2017 Premier League season to Division One with 37 points and the Executive Committee member believes some of his players were induced by Elmina Sharks which is owned by Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum.
The match between Tema Youth and Elmina Sharks in the match day 27 ended 0-2 in favour of the away side, Sharks,l which has raised a lot of eye brows by management of Tema Youth Football Club.
In an exclusive interview on HAPPY FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Osei Palmer disclosed that management of the club have set up an investigation into that game.
“The match that destroyed our whole season was against Elmina Sharks. The performance of the players was abysmal so we the management called for an investigation to find out what went wrong because if you find your boys not playing up to a certain level expected of them, it raises a lot of eyebrows and our investigations revealed that something went bad in that game.” Osei Palmer disclosed on Happy FM.
“We were very circumspect because we didn’t want to disrupt camp because we have a very small squad size so if there are issues with seven key members of the squad and you are not tactful about how to handle the situation, it will break camp and you’ll be left with 17 players, and out of those seventeen players were core members of the team so we had to be tactful.”
“Their performances in that game raised more questions than answers and we called some of them and put the issue before them, so when I heard my former boss, Dr Ndoum pointing fingers at people for machinations, I laughed. Elmina Sharks did the same thing to AshGold and Liberty Professionals.”
“People are not straight forward when it comes to relegation matters. They will do everything to make sure they get the needed results. My investigations showed clearly that he doesn’t have the locus to accuse people because he who seeks equity must come with clean hands but in this instance your hands are filthy.” He added.
