A 94th minute strike from Un-Yong Ja broke Ghanaian hearts and shattered the dreams of the gallant Black Maidens as they crashed out of the FIFA Under-20 Women World Cup after losing 1-2 to Korea DPR.
Korea DPR, who have been ruthless so far in this tournament, took the lead through the spot in the 33rd minute as Pom-Ui Kim tucked home.
Ghana fought back strongly in the second half and it paid off as enterprising Gifty Acheampong flicked the ball with her head into the net for the equalizer on the 81st minute mark but the Maiden failed to hold on as the Koreans scored the winner with last kick of the game.
