On Friday 25th November, Happy FM, your super sports station, will launch its coverage of the 2017 African Cup of Nations Tournamenton the AnopaBosuo Sports Show.
The launch will mark the beginning of the station’s 50 days countdown promotiona ahead of the AFCON tournament in January 2017.
The AFCON tournament is scheduled to take place in Gabon from January 17 to February 17 2017.
The 50 days promotion of the AFCON tournament will involve both on-air and on-ground sports activations aimed at raising enthusiasm and excitement of sports fans towards the tournament. The station will also expose the public on the various teams and players who will feature in the tournament and other exciting elements of next year’s tournament.
According to Kwasi Sarpong, Programmes Manager of Happy FM, “we want to build excitement of fans towards the tournament looking at the current apathy of fans towards the Black Stars,” adding that, “sports fans will also get the opportunity to know more about their favourite teams, players and learn about the various fixtures for the AFCON.
He continued that fans stand the chance to win exciting prizes during this 50 days countdown promotion of the AFCON tournament.
