On Friday, the 30th of October, 2020 the city of Kumerica will be in full party mode as Y102.5FM, Kumasi’s number one entertainment network hosts it’s maiden installment of “WAKE KEEPING”.

Wake-keeping will be a 12hrs continuous radio party stretch from 6:00pm on Friday to 6:00am Saturday morning, first of its kind in Ghana. The show will entertain Kumerica with back-to-back hot jams, both throwback and current hits.

You can only stay glued to Y102.5FM this Friday and dance the night away with your best friends in your homes or at your coded locations as the station’s best DJs and MCs give you a great music-packed night through to the wee hours of the morning.

Programmes Manager of Y102.5FM Kumasi, Nathaniel Osei Kuffour, had this to say about the ‘Wake Keeping’,
“An event like this has never happened before in Ghana. Wake Keeping is literally the party to launch the digital age and as we have unquestionably established over the years, YFM does not only bring life to the party. We are the life of the party.

With true party gems rocking the waves, revelers can expect the party to catch bigger flames with every passing second as your favorite DJs will be loading their Serato with the hottest party records to cause the unleashing of their inner party animal”.

Mahony advised that Kumericans who are really down to have a good time on a Friday night either alone or with friends, should be sure to get their radio sets dusted and begin to fill their fridges with drinks enough to carry the whole squad through the night, as Wake Keeping is going to be like no one ever experienced, and the talk of town till they decide to break their own record”.
