GPLonHappyFM: Legon Cities eye first win against WAFALegon Cities Communications Director Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang says the team is hoping to clinch its first win of the season against WAFA on matchday eight in the Ghana Premier League.

The Royals have accumulated three points out of 21 points after seven match days in this season’s league.

According to Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, the players are not happy about their league performances and results and are ready to turn their season around with a win in Friday’s game.

Legon Cities have lost three games in a row and are currently facing relegation should they continue with the losing streak.

Speaking in an interview on Happy Sports with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya ahead of the game, he said, “Our players are not happy because of the results they are getting so they are motivated to change the fortunes of the team”

“It has been a very tough League for us but we have been talking to the players about their performance and I believe starting from today with fans in the stadium, things will change”

Legon Cities will welcome the fans to the stadium after government lifted the ban on attendance amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang said measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of the fans to visit the venue

“I will plead with the fans to come with hand sanitizers, face masks and respectfully observe the social distancing protocols”

“I want to ensure the general public that we are law abiding people hence we won’t do anything to cause any chaos. I am making reference to what happened at the Liberty park which was attributed to us”, he added.
