The President for the Ghana Badminton Association, Evans Yeboah, says Ghana Olympic Committee President Ben Nunoo Mensah will get a lot of support if he decides to contest for the position again.

At the last GOC Congress a consensus was held for elections to be held to either select new officials or retain the old executives ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Ben Nunoo Mensah who has been on the seat for the past four years will be heading into the elections scheduled for March this year.

According to Evans Yeboah, the incumbent has done a lot for the GOC since he assumed office and he deserves to continue as President of the body.

“Everybody has two or three terms to go. We are all going to support him if he wants to contest again. Looking at the projects he has undertaken in his first tenure the Amansaman Project and others, he deserves a lot of commendation”, Evans Yeboah told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.

“So if the candidates want him to retain the seat then we are all behind him. Ben Nunoo Mensah has done a good job and we are all witnesses to it”, he added.
