Teephlow shares his COVID-19 experience

Ghanaian Hip-hop artiste, Teephlow, has disclosed that he recently tested positive for COVID-19.

The musician noted that he showed no symptoms of the virus and only discovered that he was infected when he planned to travel to Ghana some few months back.

Sharing his experience in an interview with Y97.9’s Nana Quasi-Wusu on the ‘Dryve of Your Lyfe’ show, he said: “When I planned to come to Ghana, I did the COVID test and it came out positive but I was asymptomatic.

It was crazy. That means you cannot travel and you have to be quarantined for treatment. I am still abroad and I am hoping to put a few things in place and I will be able to come down to Ghana”.

Teephlow used the opportunity to hammer home the importance of adhering to the safety protocols.

“I think the virus has gotten to a point where it is serious so now even once you have done your test again and you test negative, you still have to be quarantined and you still have to undergo certain processes to make sure you are one hundred percent okay.

Right now I have become very concerned about the Ghana situation because I have heard that the numbers are going up.
Wear your mask. I just want to let you know that the Coronavirus is real. Take the protocols seriously”, he stated.

Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases stand at 6,938 with 482 deaths.
