Controversial Ghanaian speaker, Kwaku Peprah popularly known as Quotation Master has charged the Ghana Christian Council to do the needful with regards to issues surrounding the LGBTQI+ community in Ghana.

He said this in relation to the President’s order to close down the office of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) in the country.

In an interview with Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii, he said, “This is the time for the Ghana Christian Council to do their job. They keep preaching that Ghana is a Christian Country and now is the time for them to show this to the world”.

He stated, “They have the power to come out and tell us that we will not accept this because we are a Christian country and there’s nothing anyone can do about it”.

He went on to say that, if they do not support the idea then, they should come out and voice it out for all to know instead of hiding, “that is hypocrisy” he declared.

Quotation Master however stated that the act is against the Ghanaian tradition, and must not be accepted “because it is a taboo”.

He advised the Ghana Christian Council to stand their grounds and not allow people from another country corrupt us with their beliefs and practices.
