Learn to appreciate the little things people do for you- Rev Nyansa advises

Rev Nyansa Boakwa, host of the number one religious radio show, NsemPii has advised listeners to appreciate whatever people do for them, no matter how small they seem.

The man of God shared that, he has noticed how people show little or no appreciation after their requests have been granted them. He advised persons who indulge in this practice to change their ways.

He noted, “The only time these people show appreciation is when they need another favor. That’s the only time they remember the previous favor you did them”.

Citing himself as an example he said, “I receive a lot of such messages, I get people calling to tell me how my messages sometimes impact their lives. Some go as far to say they have no idea what their lives would have been without me or what I said. But they never called to show appreciation at the time but instead, only call again when they need my help”.

For him, such messages only bring down his spirit instead of making him happy. “You have dedicated yourself to help people and these people only look for you when he or she is in danger. They did not call to show appreciation for what you did but rather ask for more favors”, he said.

He mentioned that sometimes people go out of their way to sacrifice just so they are able to help, when you ask for help. He believes if one does not appreciate such people, “it is possible that it totally will bring down their spirits”.

Rev Nyansa advised listeners to always appreciate the people who have being of help to them no matter how small they consider the help. He said, “Look for them and say thank you, let them know you appreciate the effort they put in to help you”.
