Vice-President Bawumia donates to Hasaacas Ladies

The Vice-President of Ghana, Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has donated an amount of $10,000 to Hasaacas Ladies FC to support them in their upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League camp after a publication by happyghana.com

The presentation was done by the aid of the Vice President, Mr. Tamimu Issah at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence-Prampram where the team is camping.

Speaking on behalf of the Vice President, Mr Tamimu said” the Vice President has heard of your outstanding performance in the just ended league, winning the women’s premier league and women’s FA cup trophies. He congratulates you on winning the double”.

Vice President Bawumia to grace Ghana Football season launch – Ghana Sports  Online

“He also heard of the public appeal for support as you go to Ivory Coast to represent Ghana. He asked me to come and make his donation as his contribution to the team. This is support for the team. He believes that you can make it hence he encourages you to go make yourselves and the country proud.

He has heard about your outstanding and historic qualifications to represent Ghana in the CAF women’s champions league. I am here on his behalf to make this presentation on his behalf to the entire team as his contribution to the team. He believes that you can make it hence he encourages you to go make yourselves proud and most importantly, the country proud.”

Hasaacas Ladies will represent Ghana in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League. The team is drawn in Group B alongside Rivers Angels FC and AS Police de Niamey in the qualifiers.

The team will leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday to honor the competition.
