Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, 49, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic and Students Affairs at the University of Ghana has been appointed acting Vice-Chancellor of the University.

She is to take office from August 1, 2021.
The decision was made by the newly constituted Governing Council of the University Chaired by retired Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo.

She will be the first female, and the youngest ever Vice-Chancellor of the Premier University.
