Happy98.9FM’s most immersive and life-changing socio-religious show Nsem Pii, this September will celebrate a milestone since it first aired on radio, its 10 year anniversary.

Celebrating a decade of touching lives and getting results, the show hosted by Rev Nyansa Boakwa and his team consolidated with guests and beneficiaries of the show to reminisce on how far the Lord has brought them, and acclaim Him.

In marking this landmark anniversary, the Nsem Pii team held a grand launch cum anniversary party to usher the show into a refined direction, still with its listeners at heart and a part of its production process.

The Nsem Pii at ten activations will include a myriad of on-air and off-air activities which will take place all throughout the month of September.

Programmes Manager for the brand, Elwood Mantey speaking on the milestone shared, “Hurray Nsem Pii is 10 years and this is a milestone worth celebrating. The show has been remarkable since its inception and has touched the lives of many, set the pace for others to follow and keeps growing year in year out. Celebrating this milestone is a big deal to the Nsem Pii family both at Happy FM and our listeners.

He revealed that as part of activities to mark the 10 years anniversary, the Nsem Pii team will unveil a number of segments and also embark on a series of activities. The Obra segment which will see guests share their life-changing stories with listeners will air every first Friday of the month. Another latest addition to the show’s segment, ‘Commanding Your Morning’ will also usher listeners into the new month through praises and worship every first Monday of the month.

Changing more lives under Nsem Pii at 10, the Nsem Pii team will conduct a skills training exercise for 1,000 women across the country and also spend some quality time with prisoners in a sports tournament. “The Nsem Pii team will also donate some items to the prisoners.”

The Nsem Pii team will climax its celebration with a corporate thanksgiving service in December with all listeners and interested parties.

The show which was birthed in 2008 was first aired on Happy98.9FM 11 years ago. The anniversary which was to be celebrated last year was postponed to 2021 because of the COIVD-19 pandemic as explained by Rev Nyansa Boakwa, host of the show.

“The Nsem Pii show has served Ghana and not one person. A lot of people have been touched by the show and we will keep doing that and more with this anniversary. 10 years is not the end. We are now at the peak of great things and we will keep on touching lives. Ghana should expect great things with God as our helper.”
