Hearts of Oak fans have been dealt a big blow as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ordered for Champions League preliminary game against CI Kamsar to be played behind closed doors.

The news come barely 24 hours to the game after tickets have gone on sale during the week.

At the Technical meeting today ,CAF has decided that the game between Accra Hearts of Oak and CI Kamsar will be played behind closed doors.

Reports gathered also indicate any personnel supposed to be inside the inner perimeter will need to have a COVID-19 pass kit before they will be allowed.

Thus security guards, photographers, Health officials will be checked before the game.

Hearts of Oak fans will be  denied the opportunity to watch their team play at home in the CAF Champions League for the first time in six years.

The game is a one-off game to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium after the first leg in Guinea was canceled due to the political unrest in the country.

Guinean side CI Kamsar arrived in the Accra on Friday to continue with preparations for the game on Sunday.

The team will train at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday at 3pm per the CAF regulations for away teams training at the venue ahead of kick off.
