Hasaacas Ladies coach Yusif Basigi, has said that he will not underrate any side after being drawn in Group A of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The WAFU Zone B champions have been pitted against hosts Wadi Degla, AS Mande, and Malabo Kings in that group.

Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports, the treble-winning coach said, he sees the group to be as a tough one which will motivate him to work hard and prepare well for the tournament.

“Group A is a tough group. I just psych myself that the group is tough so I need to work hard”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports.

“Currently women’s football has developed and there are no minnows in football. I respect that our group is even the toughest.

“I would have wanted to play against some of the tough sides like River Angels and Mamelodi Sundowns. It puts me on my toes when I face those big clubs”.

Basigi hinted that Hasaacas Ladies will augment their squad with some players before embarking on the trip to Egypt for the competition.

“The team is still preparing and we will be going to camp very soon. We are going to augment the team with a few players”.

The former Black Queens coach indicated that he has no information on the clubs paired against in the group hence he has requested for videos to watch them.

“I am now going to analyze all the teams we will be facing, strategize and then prepare. I am going to look at the tapes of their previous matches and study them”
