The Ahafo Region has confirmed four of President Akufo-Addo’s nominees for the position of MMDCEs with 100 percent endorsements.
The assemblies that gave the resounding confirmation are Asutifi North and South, Tano North and South.
The new MCEs in appreciating assembly members for their confirmation promised to continue the good works of their predecessors.
The Ahafo Regional Minister, Kwasi Adu Gyan, on his part, tasked them to be proactive and determined persons who could work to promote the President’s development agenda and urged the Assemblies to support them for the success of the Municipalities as a whole.
He charged the people of the Municipality led by the traditional authorities to support the MCEs in their quest to realize their dreams of bringing development to the area.
