A young Ghanaian girl who for the sake of this interview pleads to be anonymous has disclosed how she found herself prostituting for a living.

According to her, she has been sleeping around with different men for about 8 years just to make a living.

Asked her main reason for doing this, she stated, “I am doing it for the money. I am jobless and cannot find any suitable job because I could not complete my education.”

In an interview with Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s Boneka Edition of NsemPii, she explained, “I had no choice than to resort to prostitution so I could earn some money to at least eat and take care of myself and my son.”

She disclosed the father of her child has refused responsibility thus, she has no choice but to continue sleeping around to care for herself and her son.

Sharing how much she is able to make a day from that she revealed, “The men give me what they want to give me based on how well they feel I performed in bed. Some give me 5cedis, 10cedis, 3cedis or anything they feel I deserve, and I have no choice but to take it without complaining.”

She highlighted that in a day, she sleeps with about 3-4 men just to make ends meet.

The young lady wants to quit prostitution but does not know how she and her son will survive if she does.

She however emphasized that she is currently looking for a decent job and as soon as she finds something she will quit.
