Ghanaian controversial speaker, Kwaku Peprah, known by all as Quotation Master, has encouraged all to start taking responsibility for their decisions.

According to him, most people especially Ghanaians are best known for allowing others to make decisions on their behalf and considers it as bad.

He stated that it is not advisable to depend on anyone, not even your family because “you were not created with them although you were given to them. So you owe it to yourself to always make your own decisions.”

Talking to Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii, he said, “The gateway to this world is being birthed by a woman. Once you grow, know that you have no mother or father. But, you should always respect them as those who brought you into the world.”

He emphasized that respecting them does not mean you should depend on them for everything, as it is important to be on your own.

Citing an example he said, “This is why outside the country, you are left to live your life and make your own decisions once you are 18. You are also under no obligation to provide and take care of your parents unless you want to, and they are also under no obligation to provide and take care of you any longer unless they also want to. So take your own life decisions for our own good.”

Quotation master believes that doing this will make one more responsible as they will begin to pay the price when they do anything that’s wrong.

He advised, “Do not let anyone make decisions for you. Ghanaians are known for doing this a lot. It is high time people start making decisions on their own to help them become accountable for their actions”.
