Asante Kotoko maintained their perfect start to the season with another win at home against Eleven Wonders on matchday four.

The Porcupine Warriors recorded their second win of the season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium courtesy of goals from Samuel Frimpong and Isaac Oppong.

Oppong is gradually turning to be the go-to man for the Porcupine Warriors scoring his third goal of the season in four appearances.

Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum commended his players after the win especially Isaac Oppong.

“I think he is a fantastic player, he is talented and he works very hard too.”

“So he is a blend of talent, hard work, and his ability to listen to tactical instructions on the field of play.”

“Whatever you tell him to do, he does it well and he can add up to what you tell him to do.”

So I think this young guy is going to go far if he can keep his focus, keep his calm and keep his confidence.”

Aduana Stars thrashed Real Tamale United 5-1 to record their first win of the season at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park on Sunday.

The game which was initially scheduled on Saturday was rained off and replayed on Sunday morning.

Defending champions Hearts of Oak were handed their first defeat of the season by AshantiGold on matchday four.

The Pobians lost 2-0 to the miners at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
