Ghana Premier League club, Bechem United, has appointed Gonzalez Machado Alfredo Carlos as the new technical director of the club.
The 53-year-old is taking over the club with his rich experience in football management having worked with Kalatan FC, Pro Duta and CA Atenas among other clubs.
The Uruguayan has signed a two-year deal with the Bechem-based side to take charge of the youth teams (Under-17 and 19) as well as work as the technical director for the senior side.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports with Joe Debrah on the appointment of Alfredo Carlos, Kingsley Owusu Achau popularly known as Agama said the club is focused on building a youth.
“Our technical director is here to search for talents for the clubs. He will also be in charge of the senior team. He will be in charge of the senior team as well.
He will also be in charge of the U15,U17 team as well. He is going to help us and we are hopeful he will be able to do that for us”.
Agama also revealed that due to lack of social amenities in Bechem most expatriate coaches who work with the club are unable to stay for long.
