Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Mohammed is confident his performances in the ongoing season would guarantee him a place in the Black Stars ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The veteran striker has scored two goals in two games and registered one assist since making a return from injury.

He scored a superb free kick over the weekend to help Aduana Stars secure their first away win of the season against Legon Cities.

In a response to whether he would be invited to play for the Black Stars in the future, the former Asante Kotoko forward said

“The League will speak for me on my national team call up. I am available and ready to play for me when I get the invite”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.

Yahaya Mohammed added he will do his best to help the team anytime he is called upon.

“I will do my best to help Aduana Stars anytime I come on the field. Now our performance must improve after the win. Our defeat to King Faisal was a wake up call for all of us”.
