Happy FM partners PFAG for Battle of the Queens game

Happy98.9FM has partnered the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) for the second edition of its testimonial match dubbed; ‘The Battle of the Queens’. The match is scheduled to come off on Saturday, 4th December 2021 at the Bantama Kookoase Astro turf in Kumasi.

The annual stardust match is aimed at highlighting the great achievements of the female players in the country over the years, as well as encouraging the girl child to develop an interest in football.

The match which is normally played between the ex-players and currently players also ushers in the new football season.

Head of sports for Happy98.9FM, Odiasempa Kwame Oware speaking about the partnership said, “As a station that believes in giving equal opportunity and attention to all sports, we deemed it fit to partner the PFAG to promote this match and give it the needed publicity.”

“Women’s football is on the rise globally and there is so much investment locally so this is our own way of the contributing to this great course,” he added.

Several top Guests from the Media, ex-footballers and current Black Queens players are expected to grace the occasion.
