e.TV Ghana is set to air all AFCON games live on your screens

One of Ghana’s leading television stations, e.TV Ghana will in partnership with Ghana Broadcasting Company (GBC) broadcast all the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) games live in action on it’s television station in partnership with GBC and GTV Sports Plus.

There is nothing but excitement in the air as the AFCON tournament begins on 9th January in Cameroon, Programmes Manager of e.TV Ghana; Cosby Bikpe assured viewers.

“We have tailored the AFCON games on our platform to meet the expectations of our viewers especially ardent football fans. We considered the passion of viewers and stakeholders. Trust me when I say our AFCON broadcast will be more than just a mere telecast of football matches because our discussions will be par excellence. All I can say is this year’s AFCON is best seen on e.TV Ghana your world of quality television” he said.

The pre and post match discussions will be moderated by Ohene Bampoe Brenya, host of Happy Sports on Happy 98.9 FM and Raymond Nyamador host of eSports live on e.TV Ghana. They will be joined by seasoned Sports personalities such as ex black star players, coaches and administrators.

In addition to on air broadcast, e.tv Ghana’s digital and social media pages will update followers with exclusive news, and behind the scenes events captured by our sports journalists in Cameroon. Herbert Boakye Yiadom ( Host of etv Ghana’s Inside the GPL Show) will be in Cameroon to provide e.tv Ghana viewers and followers on the station’s digital platforms with real time updates and interviews and exclusives.

The AFCON was originally scheduled for 2021, however, the continental showpiece has had to be moved to 2022 due to disruptions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 33rd edition of the AFCON will have 24 teams, including Ghana battle it out for gold from January 9 to February 6.
