AshantiGold SC midfielder, Emmanuel Esso, says he is confident his team will avoid defeat when they face Hearts of Oak.
The miners travel to the capital to face Hearts of Oak on match day 21 fixture of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports with Joe Debrah, ahead of the game on Sunday, Joseph Esso said,
“Last season we played under flood lights with Hearts of Oak in the league and the FA Cup, so it won’t be a problem”.
“We are coming all out to pick a point against them. Anytime we play against Hearts of Oak in Accra it’s a difficult game. Since I joined the team, they haven’t scored us in the league”, he added.
Hearts of Oak lost their last fixture against Aduana Stars. Whilst, Ashantigold SC picked all three points against King Faisal at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on matchday 20.
The miner emerged winners when the two teams clashed in the first round of the season.
