Ghanaian actor cum politician, John Dumelo, has promised to walk barefooted to Nigeria if the Super Eagles win in today’s match against Ghana.

In an Instagram post sighted by eTV Ghana, Dumelo declared a zero percent win for the Super Eagles in today’s fixture.

According to John Dumelo, he will not only walk barefooted to Nigeria if they are able to beat Ghana, but will also do so while carrying ginger on his head.

The post read, “There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot!”.

Replying to a comment on the post, Dumelo further described the Nigerian team as ‘Super chickens’, instead of ‘Super eagles’, emphasizing that they will not win.

Nigerians in his comment section, are eager to witness this live trek from Ghana to Lagos, whilst others promised to check on the actor early tomorrow morning to remind him of his words.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles arrived in Ghana yesterday for the 1st Leg play-off match against The Black Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium scheduled for today at 7:30pm.

The match will be carried Live on Ghana’s number one sports station, Happy98.9FM.
