Techiman-based side, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC on Saturday, 28th May, 2022 will square it off with Hasaacas Ladies FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in the grand finale of the 2021/2022 Ghana Women’s Premier League finale.

Last season’s Women’s Premier League finalists made their third consecutive win in the Northern Zone of the League with a record of twelve wins, three draws and three losses with thirty-nine points.

Head coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa speaking to the GFA Communications said, “We are excited about getting the nod for yet another final to meeting Hasaacas Ladies again and even in the FA Cup final. Happenings of last season are past and gone and even with this new season, both teams have lost some key players who participated in the previous final”, he revealed.

“I am highly optimistic that this season will be too close and a tight contest between us. I also believe we the two coaches, will be at war tactically and whoever establishes supremacy will be on the winning side”, he added.

Nana Adarkwa continued, “On the field of play, I am looking forward to players of both sides exhibiting tactical discipline and also adhering to instructions which I believe will ultimately enhance the game. Again, I am hoping Ampem Darkoa wins this tie because it is not beyond us and was possible in the 2016 season. My players will be prepped so they do not repeat the mistakes of last season.”
