Founder of Universal Christ Church, Prophet Gabriel Twumasi, has argued Christians of today have drifted from worshipping God the proper way.
According to him, the improper way of doing things and attitude of Christians towards doing things the spiritual way has turned us Christians from God.
In an interview with Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s ‘Nsem Pii’, he said, “People are too proud to even show gratitude to God but they expect him to be swift when answering their prayers.”
He noted that “this is why he keeps emphasizing on the fact that there is no perfect church on earth because that is the fact.
You’ll see people standing in the presence of God with their hands in their pockets when they should be lifting their hands to God in worship. This shows how disrespectful we are to God,” he disclosed.
The prophet furthered that this is why sometimes it takes God a while to listen to the prayers of man. “This will change only when we decide to change our attitude and start to worship God the right way.
This is why the Bible says God humbles the proud and gives grace to the humble. So, if want to be given more grace from God, then you should start worshipping God the right way,” he advised.
