Hearts of Oak coach has parted ways with Samuel Boadu, the club has announced.

In the letter sighted by Happyghana.com, the club has decided to go in a new direction without Samuel Boadu and his entire backroom staff.

U20 coach Samuel Nii Noi and Benjamin Mensah will act in the interim as coaches until a substantive coach is appointed by the club.

The former Medeama coach has been under pressure following Hearts of Oak’s poor start to the season.

The Phobians have accrued just two points out of nine after match day three in the betPawa Ghana Premier League.

Boadu’s team performance has been questioned by the Board especially Dy Nyaho Tamakloe.

Hearts of Oak’s recent performance also leads to questions about their impact in the CAF Confederation Cup under Coach Samuel Boadu.

Happy Sports has gathered that Hearts of Oak is set appoint Erik Van Deer Meer as the club’s new technical director.

Samuel Boadu won six trophies after spending three seasons with the club.

He guided Hearts of Oak to break their league title drought after 12 years and also won two MTN FA Cup titles.

Below is a statement from the club…
