Josh Travels celebrates 10 years of extensive corporate and leisure travel services

Ghana’s top-rated travel agency, Josh Travels on Friday, December 9, 2022, celebrated 10 years of excellence in corporate and leisure travel management.

Josh Travels was birthed in June 2012, beginning operations at Dome Pillar 2, and has since experienced tremendous growth after relocating to its main office in Asylum Down, Accra.

The climax of Josh Travel’s year-long celebration, saw several years of satisfied clients and stakeholders rally at the premises. Catherine Wesley, the country manager of Emirates, a representative from the Ghana Revenue Authority and SSNIT, other dignitaries from traveling partners, old and present staff as well as some shareholders graced the occasion.

Honoured as the Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Edward Forkuo Kyei congratulated the Chief Executive Officer and the Management of Josh Travel for hitting an enviable milestone in the highly competitive industry.

The cocktail anniversary also witnessed some goodwill messages from longstanding clients and partners with some honorary awards presented to deserving members.

Sales Manager of Josh Travel and the winner of the “Most Outstanding Staff”, Samuel Darko reiterated the company’s determination to deliver, “customer satisfaction and remain committed to our mission to provide economical and convenient travel service to our clients.”

In between the event and awards presentation, the ever-amazing Ken Carbonu thrilled the audience with his soothing music craft.

Sharing his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Josh Travel, Frank Annin Bonsu expressed gratitude to both past and present board members, management and staff as well as the audience gathered to celebrate a decade of consistency and excellence.

“We feel more responsible to focus on customer satisfaction. We remain committed to providing unparalleled services to our customers and to achieve our mission to provide the most convenient and economical travel services in Ghana and beyond. We are more focused than ever to lead in the travel industry,” he added.

He also charged the government to reinstate national carriers to help the Ghanaian travel industry compete with international agencies.

“One of the things that helps us in this business is that, in every country if there is a national carrier to compete with the foreign carriers, the airline fares are relatively cheaper. For instance when we had Ghana Airways and Ghana International Airlines flying, they competed with British Airways, Delta and others as the fares were moderate. But for now, we have noticed government plans on bringing a national carrier. We hope that it becomes a reality and that will be crucial to the industry,” he stressed.

Mr. Annin Bonsu further promised to leverage the digitalization era to embark on better, faster and smarter way of travel and tourism promotion.

Other awards included the best-performing corporate client, which was presented m to the KGL Group Ghana, a business class ticket to Dubai.

The best performing staff went to the sales manager, Mr. Samuel Darko. He had a chest freezer.
