The technical director for Dreams FC, Coach Karim Zito has denied reports on the club’s interest in signing Hearts of Oak star Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Barnieh is set to leave Hearts of Oak when his contract with the club expires next month.
According to reports, Dreams FC are in talks to sign the center forward with the promise of selling him abroad.
Coach Karim Zito in an interview on Happy Sports has refuted those reports, tagging them as lies.
He claims that the club has no interest in the Hearts of Oak player, and no discussion has been held to that effect.
“It is not true Dreams are in talks to sign Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Happy Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
“I am the technical director and any transfer activity passes through me. It’s a blatant lie, disregard any news on that”, he added.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is currently with the Black Galaxies team in Egypt preparing ahead of the 2023 Africa Nations Championship to be staged in Algeria next month.
