Happy 98.9 FM introduces ‘Happy Evening Drive’ with Akua Sika from 7pm to 10pm on weekdays

From 2nd January your favourite radio station, Happy 98.9 FM will set yet another pace on radio with the ‘Happy Evening Show’ which will be hosted by Akua Sika and will run every Monday to Friday, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Akua Sika will have entertaining conversations about lifestyle, celebrity news, gossip, fashion among others.

‘Happy Evening Drive’ will also bring you the most authoritative weekly countdown dubbed ‘Happy Countdown’ on Fridays. Other exciting segments include “Y3mb) Nkomo-a segment that is a merger of realities of life and Around Town. Curators of the show say, there will be celebrity interviews every Wednesday and a segment dedicated to unearthing fresh and trending talents.

Speaking about the new show, Programmes Manager of Happy 98.9 FM Elwoode Mantey said: “We are looking at entertaining and discussing issues pertaining to young adults through conversations about lifestyle, celebrity news, gossip, fashion. The show will be presented in a clear articulated Twi language as well as about 20% English language.

He also touched on the concept of the show.
” The ‘Happy Evening Show’ is a revamped ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ we know our listeners loved that show that’s why we have made it better and suitable to the times that we are in.”

He also encouraged listeners to give the host Akua Sika the chance.

“Look forward to the Happy Evening Show with Akua Sika, you will continue to enjoy your favourite tracks, celebrity interviews, showbiz news and updates and many more.

Give the new host a chance and you will love her like we do at Happy FM” he said.

Akua Sika on her part promised nothing but the best.

“I know my show is at a time to reach the most people who listen to car radios while driving, usually to and from work, or on public transportation.

I promise you, that you will enjoy your time with me that you will miss your bus stops.

Let’s begin the year with fun on Happy FM” she intimated.
