Ghana’s authoritative radio station, Happy 98.9 FM, dedicated to social impact has unionized in holy matrimony seven couples at the 17th edition of the Happy FM Mass Wedding.

Held every year on February 14, the day of romance in the month of love, the Happy FM Mass Wedding has grown to be a bridal tradition and one of the most spectacular occasions in Ghana.

This year’s edition of the Happy Mass Wedding held at the Wan-Shi Gardens in Accra witnessed seven couples distinguished and dressed in flamboyant Ghanaian garments reexchange vows on sacred grounds.

The event was hosted by two of Happy98.9 FM’s silver-tongued presenters and MCs, Rev Nyansa Boakwa, host of Nsem Pii and the Ekumfi Princess; Mercy Bee.

The wedding venue was exquisitely decorated with elegant floral arrangements, soft lighting, and intricate table settings, creating a romantic and sophisticated ambience was blessed with the presence of some renowned guests including Nana Tima Panin III (Berekumhene of Kwahu Bepong), the Group CEO of Global Media Alliance, Ernest Boateng, Honorable Samuel Nii Adjei Tawiah (MCE Korley Klottey), Charles Osei Asibey, Secretary General of SWAG amongst several prominent personalities.

Climaxed with a thrilling refreshment session were breathtaking performances from Ghana’s finest talents including Afrobeats duo Lali & Lola, PS.
