IndigoHomes, has hinted of its medium-term plan of building affordable housing projects to improve Ghana’s housing situation and provide relief to the average Ghanaian.

Ms. Cheryl Mills, the Founder and CEO of BlackIvy, the parent company of IndigoHomes, said IndigoHomes has been navigating for a land to be able to build accommodation for the average Ghanaian. “This development so far has been terrific because it has helped to cement people’s mind that we are really a leading developer and we are committed to getting land opportunities that tie in with our affordable housing plan.”

The Founder and CEO of IndigoHomes, in Ghana, Kenya and Tanzania, was addressing the media during a site tour at their residential developments in Oyarifa Park and Ayi Mensah Parks.

“We settled on Ghana as our first country of choice though we visited nine countries. We ultimately determined the first place we wanted to invest in was Ghana because people are friendly and there is a deep connection. We saw an opportunity in the housing infrastructure and we sought to close that gap by not just building houses, but to build communities that are secure, vibrant and a joy to live in”

“We are delighted to demonstrate versatility, resilience, ingenuity and excellence in all of our projects.  So far, we have completed and handed over 300 homes to our proud homeowners. And because, we are confident of the quality of homes we build, we give a 12-month home warranty for non-structural concerns and 36-month warranty for any structural highlight that need our attention”, she added.

According to Ms. Mills, IndigoHomes has successfully made the slogan, ‘Love where you live’ a reality for the homeowners and residents who chose to call AyiMensahPark and OyarifaPark developments home.

The IndigoHomes CEO added that “IndigoHomes is gaining accolades for its quality and unmatched home and community designs which are both aspirational and functional, reflecting progressive and evolving lifestyles”.
