The Patrons, Executive Board and Management Committees of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation (GWF) wish to congratulate the President of the Federation, Mr Ben Nunoo Mensah, on his election as the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
We also wish to congratulate him on his election to the Executive Board of the Weightlifting Federation of Africa (WFA) at an elective congress held in Algiers, Algeria.
It is our believe that Mr Nunoo Mensah will bring his rich experience in sports administration to bear on the operations of the GOC in order to growth and development Ghana Sports.
We at the Ghana Weightlifting Federation are confident that he will succeed in his quest to taking Ghana sports to higher heights.
We also wish to express our sincere gratitude to the delegates for the confidence reposed in our President to lead the Olympic family for the next four years.
In a related development, the Patrons, Executive Board and Management Committees also wish to congratulate the Chairman of our Medical Sub-Committee, Dr Christopher Akwesi Adomako on his election to the Medical Committee of the Weightlifting Federation of Africa.
