Former President John Dramani Mahama has said democratic administration is still the greatest option despite some of the shortcomings in African countries.
He stated that constitutional governance allows the people to peacefully change underperforming leaders.
His comments come at a time West African countries including Niger, have been experiencing coups.
In a tweet, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 general elections reminded Ghanains that they have 483 days to the next general elections to cast their ballot in the general elections.
“Constitutional governance is still best. It allows us to peacefully change our leaders if we believe they are not working in the interest of the people! 483 days to go for the verdict of the people”.
