Promasidor Ghana Limited on Saturday, 25th March went into the Guinness Book of Records with their ONGA brand.
ONGA which is Ghana’s leading food seasoning product broke the record for the World’s Longest Feast Table at an event held in Accra with 1928.18 metres.
The event was held at the Black Stars Square and saw over 3000 people throng the grounds to witness the feat.
The World’s Longets Table record was previously held by Afia International, a company in Saudi Arabia whose record was 1508 meters.
The ONGA feat beats the current world record for the longest table as the guests in attendance were served with sumptuous local dishes amidst some entertainment.
Officials from the Guinness Book of Records have since certified the record.
