Lakeside Marina Park, one of Ghana’s most enjoyed and visited recreational parks, has added an ultramodern swimming pool to its bouquet of offerings.

The 5x20meters dimensioned swimming pool is 5 feet deep, and provides a lot of family friendly activities for patrons.

To Lakeside Marina Park, the pool is not just an activity but a get away to the world of aquatic enjoyment.

Lakeside Marina Park believes in creating a space for quality life and the pool is an indication of that commitment.

Director of Lakeside Marina Park, Salah Kalmoni expressed excitement over the launch of the swimming pool which falls under the zone two of the water theme park.

“We are very happy to be doing this today. This has been a long journey spanning 20 years and today, we are launching the first part of zone two of our 20 year plan. Zone two is the pushing of the water park and today we are launching the swimming pool. On March 9, 2024 we would have completed the water park and launch that as well.”

He revealed that Lakeside Marina Park would have spent a sum of GHc12M on the water park upon its completion.

The Lakeside Marina Park water park will be the foremost wheel chair friendly water park in Ghana.

Business Development Manager for Lakeside Estates, Reynolds Owusu described the swimming pool as not just an activity, but a get away to the world of aquatic enjoyment.

“This pool offers more than a refreshing day but an oasis of joy. Swimming is an activity which builds endurance, moral strength and improves cardiovascular health. If you want a place to learn to swim or have fun with the family, then the Lakeside Marina Park pool is designed to meet your desire,” he emphasized.

The Lakeside Marina Park team prioritizes collaboration for business success, especially with stakeholders in the tourism space, and called for enhanced collaboration during the festive season to not only promote tourism, but to maximize profits.

Manager of Lakeside Marina Park, Priscilla Ameni, appreciated staff for their efforts in the realization of the swimming pool. “This wouldn’t have been possible if not for the contribution of staff of Lakeside Marina Park. I say ayekoo for all your efforts. A big thank you to the Director of Lakeside Marina Park, Salah Kalmoni and Managing Director, Dr. Prince Ayiku for seeing to the realization of this dream.”
