Ghana’s leading radio station, Happy98.9FM is set to begin weekly pre-marital counseling sessions for registered couples to enhance their knowledge on the path they have chosen together.
The counseling session which forms part of activities couples engage in ahead of the happy fm valentine mass wedding is slated for January 20, 2024 at the Happy FM premises in Asylum Down.
The counseling session will be led by renowned and certified marriage counselors, Ellen Gyamerah-Ako and Dr. John Boakye with support from Happy98.9FM’s Nyansa Boakwa among others.
The Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding is a community investment initiative designed to support couples who have exhibited desire and commitment to spend their lives together as married couples in Holy Matrimony.
Head of Communication, Brands and Marketing at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), Bridget Mensah outlined the significance of counseling urging couples not to miss any session.
“Counseling forms an integral part of every marriage and relationship .Marriage is a journey full of lessons, therefore I want to use this platform to encourage the couples to take part in all counselling sessions to enable them maintain and sustain the strong bond that influenced their decision to tie the knot. The marriage institution goes beyond the fancy wedding ceremony. Counseling is the reality check that helps couples to gain insight as they embark on this life long journey.
