Some Phobians showed up to demonstrate against Togbe Afede XIV and the entire Board of Accra Hearts of Oak.

The demonstration was held in Accra on Monday, February 14, 2023, to protest against the ills in the club and also call for “the dissolution of the Hearts of Oak Board to make way for a new and competent one”.

Unlike the #SaveGhanaFootball exercise which saw thousands demonstrate on the streets, the Concern Hearts of Oak supporters did not attract large numbers.

The demonstrators called on Hearts of Oak majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV to dissolve the Board like promised the shareholders at the last Annual General Meeting.

“We are calling on our Majority shareholder to dissolve this Board and submit a new list for approval at the next Annual General Meeting,” the group said in their written petition to Togbe Afede XIV.
